Preserve Engineers developed a comprehensive repair program for the five-level Station Nine Parking Deck in Durham, North Carolina. The program was designed to complete the identified structural repairs, including concrete restoration and protective coating of existing steel connections, while also repairing and replacing waterproofing components at the exposed levels of the garage. The waterproofing work includes joint sealant replacement, expansion joint replacement, drainage improvements, and a new heavy-duty deck coating to help keep the parking structure dry and reduce water infiltration to the lower levels. Preserve also provided construction documents, bidding assistance, and construction administration services.
