Preserve Engineers developed a repair program for the multi-level stair tower at the 111 S Church St Parking Deck in Charlotte. Our team prepared construction documents to replace the aging steel system with galvanized stringers, SlipNOT perforated treads and risers, landings, guards, and handrails. The project also includes wall coatings, localized concrete repair, supplemental steel connections, temporary egress, and carefully coordinated phasing. Following completion of bidding, Preserve is transitioning into construction administration to help deliver safe, durable pedestrian access.
